I prefer people to remember my name as Yui-Tseu Waung, pronounced in my mother tongue, and spelt in the Wade-Giles system.

I am a doctoral researcher in China Studies in the Department of Oriental Languages and Cultures at Ghent University.

I am interested in identity politics, international relations, and cross Taiwan-Strait relations, with a regional focus on the 'Sinophone world'.
